The Perfect Ingredients For Your Special Occasion

Our charming function rooms, superb catering, Cotswold stone walled garden and lantern-lit courtyard make us the ideal venue for a memorable occasion.

We have two large function rooms, two break-out rooms and plenty of outdoor space suitable for marquees or external displays. Whatever kind of event you are planning, we have the facilities to accommodate you.

The Grand Hall

With its large open fireplace, flagstone floor and stone walls, this room sets a warm and welcoming atmosphere from the moment you step inside.

Set on the ground floor, the Grand Hall can cater for 70-250 guests for a seated dinner. If you would prefer a hot/cold buffet, we are able to cater for 100-300 guests.

The Grand Hall boasts a large dance floor and we are able to offer a great selection of lagers, real ales, wines and spirits from our fully licensed, traditional-style bar.

The Loft

Situated on the first floor via a spiral staircase (lift access available), The Loft offers you exposed beams, a mezzanine floor and chandeliers.

It is also used as The Barn’s primary Civil Ceremony Suite and sits up to 150 guests, theatre-style.

The Retreat

The Retreat is a restaurant laid out in continental cafe style designed to meet all your conference catering requirements.

Alternatively it can be hired as an additional area for your evening events in the Grand Hall.

It features soft leather sofas, a roaring log fire and an intimate atmosphere.

The Cotswold stone walled garden & Lantern Lit Courtyard

Our pretty stone walled garden and lantern lit courtyard are the perfect combination to team with our superb function rooms.

The garden is private, large yet intimate and the perfect setting for your photographs. It off ers you a shingled patio area with attractive, comfortable outdoor seating, an oriental pond, a large pergola and a traditional English kissing seat.

It is an ideal environment in which to off er your guests a welcome drink, canapés or just to relax during your time with us.

The Finest Cuisine

The Barn at Berkeley has created a range of menus to suite everyone’s tastes. Our highly acclaimed chef takes immense pride in creating a wide selection of delicious menus for you and your guests.

Great food requires the fi nest ingredients, which is why we only use produce from select suppliers whom we know and trust. We always aim to use the fi nest produce, sourced locally and ethically. Fairtrade and organic options are available with all of our menus and our chef can accommodate any dietary requirements.
